Project Brief: create a TVC Tag-On for launch of the new Beans product (Italiano) within Jacobs Barista Editions products line.
With Jacobs Barista Editions Italiano, you can enjoy a cup of Italian-style coffee at home.
We were given an existing TV Commercial that set the look & feel of the environment we needed to follow with the Tag-on. I created several concepts, which were presented to the client in form of storyboards. Some of them had a bigger story behind, some presented just a short introduction of the new product with links to Italy. The selected concept is a combination of 2D animation, 3D and real footage.
Because the shooting was included, we went through the full production process. In addition to keeping the brand’s and product line’s appearance consistent, I was responsible for the set design directions, casting and wardrobe selection.
At the post-production stage, I supervised the animator, checked and approved the 3D elements and the final color grading of the coffee enjoyment scene.
