Swiss Hair Expert: REVALID | Everything You Need for Beautiful Hair

My role: 3D, Compositing, Art Direction, Video Editing

Project brief: rework parts with products; create more expressive/modern/professional animation of dandruff removal as well as effect of soothing and healing the skin.

My main task in this project was to offer several options to rework the middle part of the video, where the shampoo is in action. I proposed two approaches: a 2D adjustment or the creation of a 3D animation with a clear story, better details, and enhanced textures. The client was thrilled with the idea of a proper 3D animation.

First, we aligned on the timings and content. Next, I provided static previews of the models, including skin layers, hair, dandruff, shampoo capsules, sebum, and cells, with basic colors. Then, I moved on to creating the rough animation. Once the camera motion, shampoo interaction with the skin, and water flow were approved, I presented previews of the textures. Finally, I adjusted the lighting and assembled all the pieces.

The client loved the final result, and I was pleased with the happy client.

Project brief: rework part with products on podiums (5s-6s); recreate a tag-on with a new product; create 10s version.

Based on the global TVC I recreated an animation with products on podiums to show the required ones, and I made the tag-on animation part supplemented with a smooth transition from the main TVC part.

Project brief: create a tag-on for the announcement of the competition (5s-10s).

My task in this project was to offer several options for animating a suitcase using storyboards. After approving one of the versions, I prepared the files for the editor.
